I am starting to wonder how many of these articles are in fact written by ChatGPT with little fact-checking afterwards.

As others have noted, "I'm currently yielding 42.72% on $1,000. Total passive income: $427/month." is completely false.

This is APY (the A stands for Annual). So clearly this was (misunderstood) theoretical income, not actual income hitting the bank account. This major error hasn't been fixed in 6 days.

It's also worth noting that altcoins have their own variable value over time, so you might earn a high staking fee while the base value of the token drops significantly. This isn't even mentioned here although it is a primary risk factor.
